Mission & Service

Faith in Action. Serving Beyond Ourselves.

Mission and service are at the heart of who we are as Pacific Group of Christian Schools.

In the Pacific Group of Christian Schools, we endeavour to have excellence in teaching, learning, and serving. Our mission and service programs aim to equip students to put their faith in action by serving others locally, nationally, and internationally in the name of Christ. Our prayer is they use these skills to become effective disciple makers and servants in their local context.

Serving Communities. Transforming Lives.

Each year, students and staff from our schools participate in mission trips and service projects that embody Christ’s call to love our neighbour. From remote communities in Australia to international partnerships across the globe, these experiences help shape hearts of compassion, humility, and courage.

Our mission initiatives vary across schools but share one purpose: to serve with grace and to grow in understanding of God’s heart for the world. In the Pacific Group of Schools, we seek to create sustainable service opportunities by partnering with local churches, mission organisations, and missionaries to help support local outreach programs, serving alongside Indigenous communities, empowering schools through Teacher Education Programs, service projects, or partnering with sister schools around the world. God has gifted each of us with unique skills and talents and we encourage our students to use their gifts to make a difference.

Everyday Learning

Service is not limited to a single event. Within our classrooms, playgrounds, and communities, we nurture servant leadership, empathy, and stewardship of God’s creation. Through mission and service, our students discover that the greatest learning often happens when we give of ourselves for others.

Uniting Teachers and Students for Global Christian Mission

Global Christian Schools Network (GCSN) is a special gathering of Christian men and women with a common purpose; to support and build a firm Biblical foundation for Christian Education and to glorify God by exercising our God given gifts through missions and service, locally and around the world. This event runs every two years for a student and teacher conference.
